As March passes by, I am in a serious need of new products. So here it is – a haul. Somehow I hopped on a drugstore bandwagon… And I don’t regret it! There are so many incredible products, that won’t leave you empty-handed and as I am on the budget (more on that in the future post!), it’s a great alternative. I brought Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel foundation (in Vanille) because it’s truly my holy grail foundation for the winter. My skin gets really dry and fair, and this foundation is perfect for that. For a concealer, I usually use Maybelline Fit Me as it’s fairly inexpensive and get’s similar results as my favorite Urban Decay Weightless Skin. I also got Diva! makeup sponge and Rimmel Scandaleyes mascara as a gift, but it wasn’t as impressive as I’d hope so these will be going to my friends.
As for the cheeks, I went with something new for me – Rimmel London blush and Tarte highlighter. I’ve heard so many great reviews about Rimmel blushes, I had to try it myself! (And there was a sale of course). This beautiful coral color is more than perfect for me, as I don’t usually go for pink blushes. On the other hand, I didn’t really like Tarte highlighter, as it is too dark for my fair complexion.
As for the lips, I went nude. Somehow, I started to like nude lipstick colors only recently. Tarte one is a lot more sparkly and brown and Rimmel has a hint of red in it. Both look beautiful on and very natural as well.
And this is it for today. Please stay tuned, as I already am writing something for another time!
